Beginning Pottery I, Wheel Throwing (8 weeks) January 27 - March 17, Tuesdays, 6-8:30pm, fee $190.00 with Susan Gregory Students will cover methods of centering clay and throwing bowl and cylinder forms such as mugs, cups and bowls. Students will learn how to finish their pots through trimming, decorating and glazing. Beginning Pottery II, Wheel Throwing (8 weeks) January 26 - March 16, Mondays, 6 - 8:30pm, fee $190.00 with Anne John Students will reinforce throwoing skills, trimming, and glazing skills and progress to larger, more complex forms. Basic throwing skills are recommended. Intermediate Wheel Throwing (8 Weeks) January 28 - March 19,Wednesdays, 6:30-9:00pm, fee $190.00 with Betsy Carter This class is for advanced beginner to intermediate students who want to refine their throwing skills and work on specific forms. Studients will focus on making good pots into great pots through practice in refining shapes, trimming, and adding handles, lids and other finishing details. Basic throwing skills recommended.
